to digital menus.
At Florentines Traditional Fish and Chip Shop, Digi Sign replaced poster-based menus with eight LCD screens ranging from 43 to 55 inches. Each screen has a built-in Android media player and Wi-Fi connectivity, with content managed through a cloud-based CMS.
Zoe redesigned the logo and developed the menu styles around the updated branding. The installation combines landscape menus above the serving counter, portrait menus on the rear wall and a separate pair of screens for specials.
We supplied editable templates so the customer can update menus, prices and promotions themselves while keeping the design consistent. The project brought screen installation, branding and content management together.

- 01Show us your premises
Send photographs of your counter and walls, approximate measurements and a copy of your menu. Include your location and any opening or refit deadline.
- 02Plan and quote
We set out screen, mounting, software and installation costs. Installation is usually estimated until we have enough site information. Larger projects require a site survey.
- 03Install and train
We fit and commission the displays, then provide free software training. The layout and content are planned around the way customers view your menu.
- 04Support after installation
Phone and remote support are free throughout the warranty. You have someone to contact for help with the software or a screen that needs attention.

How many menu screens will I need?
That depends on the menu, available space and viewing distance. Send us a copy of the menu and photographs of the premises. We can discuss the number of screens, their size and orientation, and whether specials would benefit from a separate display.
Can I update menus and prices myself?
Yes. We can provide editable templates and a suitable cloud-based CMS so your team can update its own menus and prices. At Florentines in Banbridge, Zoe designed the new logo and menu styles and supplied templates for the customer to use. Free software training is included.
What does the software cost?
We choose from three software platforms depending on the project. Some screens include free software; other options have a subscription. Monthly, annual and two-year payment arrangements can be available, depending on the platform. Your quotation identifies the software and any ongoing cost.
Is menu design included?
Initial content design is charged separately for smaller orders and is included with purchases of three or more screens or larger projects. We agree the design work in your quotation. Free software training is included regardless of the size of the order.
What warranty and aftercare do the screens include?
All LCD screens have a three-year warranty. The first year covers parts, labour and call-outs for warranty repairs. Years two and three cover parts only, with labour and call-outs chargeable. Phone and remote support are free throughout the warranty period.
Do you cover Northern Ireland and Ireland?
Yes. Digi Sign supplies and installs across Northern Ireland and Ireland. Delivery and installation arrangements are set out in your quotation. Standard LCD screens supplied without fitting are normally delivered free within Northern Ireland. Our Moneymore showroom is available by appointment.
